Ole Miss running back I’Tavius Mathers told the Murfreesboro Daily Journal that he will be transferring for his senior season. Per USAToday:
quote:

Mathers did not explain the decision, but it’s not difficult to imagine it being related to his own playing time. After leading the Rebels in rushing as a sophomore (546 yards on 96 carries, with three touchdowns), Mathers’ numbers dipped in 2014 to 290 yards on 67 carries. He finished third on Ole Miss’ team in rushing, and carried the ball only twice in Ole Miss’ final two regular season games of the season.
Mathers is the second Ole Miss running back to transfer this week as Mark Dodson announced on that he will be leaving Oxford as well. Dodson is expected to land at Memphis.

Uh, they never did. GEORGIA and AUBURN had the #1 and 1A rushing attack both at around 255 a game. Ole Miss was 10th in the SEC in rushing last season, LoL

Ole Miss loses another RB.... You won't have the best rushing attack in the SEC at this rate.
