As a Bama fan, I'd agree with this statement. The best part for UGA is even *IF* Bama can beat them in the SEC Champ game, UGA is still in the top 4. I wonder if LSU fans will be clamoring for UGA not to be in the top4 cause of the whole "ya gotta be conf. champs" argument y'all used so much back in 2011 and other times?! Just curious...

Alabama is inarguably a top 3 all-time program judging by whatever metric one uses. Obviously you haven't been watching football very long. Bama won a bunch of titles before Saban, and they will win more after he is gone.

Except of course for that 9 year period prior to Saban where they went through 5 coaches in 9 years or the 13 years between the 1979 and 1993 titles or the 17 years between the 1992 and 2009 titles.

Canebreak, Bama literally won a NC (or multiple) in every decade except the 1950s and the 1980s. Mull that over for a minute.
