Pretty immature. Poor upbringing by the parents if the kid is doing this at an event like this. The other school took enough time to recruit you. The least you could do is have a smidge of respect. The ironic thing is this kid will probably talk about "lack of respect" and "being disrepected" at least a handful of times over the next four years. The players who do this are usually the ones who don't have any respect for anything. And I don't even like Florida. Just hate this look-at-me bullshite.

Didn’t make the grades to get into UF anyway. Pretty dumb because most people knew he wouldn’t pick UF either. Have fun with those 6-6, 5-7, 7-5 type seasons. The Gator Bowl is a great time.

I hate when they pull this bullshite but its Florida so I love it immensely.

I wonder what the correlation between these types of announcements and actually being a good player in college is? Has anyone ever gone on from a commitment like this and won the Heisman? How many have ended up transferring before they finished college?
