Georgia Is Switching Out Bulldog Mascots
Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports
Georgia announced on Thursday that after 38 games their mascot bulldog Uga IX, is retiring mid-season and will be getting replaced by another English bulldog named Uga X. Per UGA President Jere W. Morehead...
quote:

“Uga is cherished by University of Georgia fans worldwide. We are grateful for Russ’s dedicated service, and we look forward to welcoming Que as our new mascot.”

It's sad that this dog will have a better retirement than I will.

He's taking a play from the OBC's play book and quitting mid-season!

They should switch to an American Pit Bull.

They're much better looking dogs and much more intimidating.

At least they could retire this one instead of another premature burial.

Bulldogs are ugly and unintimidating. I'd punt that smooshed-faced chode off the top deck.

UGA has the right idea. After this season, it's time to find a new Mike. Preferably one that likes to go to football games.

As an English Bulldog owner, I have to give Georgia credit. That is a good looking dog.
