Former Missouri Tigers defensive linemen Sheldon Richardson was named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the year. Richardson started every game for the New York Jets this year and finished with 3.5 sacks and 77 tackles, the third-most in the league among defensive linemen. Per NLF.com Twitter:

Sheldon Richardson ... had to go to the NFL to pad his stats. Probably felt like he was a man playing amongst boys after the abuse he took his last year at Mizzou, his first in the SEC.
