everyone wants to be the one who predicts the end first .. laughable .. coming from a BAMA fan though .

Bama is still very good but will not sniff another sec championship. Probably playoffs are done this season next season as well. Might see little Mack pack

Bama won't win the SEC again while Saban is coach.

Bama's run THIS YEAR is over. But as long as they keep recruiting at an elite level, they'll be in the hunt.
user avatar

Exactly! Talent won’t avoid bama like the plague unless Saban leaves and they get some joke of a coach which I doubt happens. The west will be brutal for years to come. LSU bama auburn (yes) and A&M if they can get better.

The NFL talking heads say the exact same things about the Patriots every single season...bama might not make the final 4 this season but, we all know as long as saban is coaching bama they will be around....

I despise everyone of those cbs pukes especially the two house boy uncle toms on that “Inside College Football” show that I saw today.

fricking eye test. Eye test. Eye test. Eye test. Let’s just watch practice and pick the playoff teams
user avatar
cajunguy53 months
Right bama would get hammered round 2 if they did sniff the playoffs this year. Gotta beat the mighty auburn first tho if they can

If Saban doesn’t retire after this season, next year will be his last.
user avatar
ChipDiamond53 months
You call this a hot take? Psh. I could do better in my sleep
user avatar
cajunguy53 months
Saban not retiring, what would he do and then who would challenge Ed Orgeron in the sec? I'd like to see LSU get multiple championships under coach Oeaux and I believe that will happen but I can tell ya saban not retiring not for another 4 years

They lose to what could be one of the best teams/college QBs of all time and all of a sudden it’s over? People are morons.
user avatar

Lsu is a one hit wonder then based off the ignorant logic these jealous haters are using because after Joe B leaves LSU...their run is over too. Bama has the top qb in the country coming in Bryce Young and loads of talent across the board.
user avatar

Over for this year? Yea, no Tua, no SoS, one loss, you out. I don't think they're talking about Bama as a program going downhill, just that their 2019 run (for nat champ) is over. And I think that's a fair statement.
user avatar

Do you really believe this is one of the best college football teams of all time?

Mac Jones is a good QB. I wouldn't count on this. I will be less surprised if Mac goes off on Auburn than I would be if he stinks up the place.
user avatar
cajunguy53 months
He is ? Well damn why was saban scared to put him in the first half vs Ms St?
user avatar

Are you kidding me? You know how much we got into the backfield and our pass rush is almost non existent. Auburn is going to eat this dude alive.
user avatar
billfish2153 months
He does mean it's over FOR this year... nothing more. nothing less. Geaux Tigers.
user avatar
LSUAlum200153 months
They have made every CFB playoff so far, and he’s predicting they don’t this year, so, technically, the run IS over.

Duh...

... Or Mac Jones drops 300 yards passing and 3-4 TDs in a win over Auburn and THEN WHAT? Almost seems like we do control our own destiny if Mac plays well. I like dem odds. And if we don't, well then it's on us!
user avatar

Or your laughable schedule, with a loss to the only decent team you have played so far, body slams any chance you thought you had. You were holler-laughing when you won those poofda games. How funny is it now that they keep you out?
user avatar
cajunguy53 months
U really think little Mac will put up 300 yards vs auburn? I personally didn't think he was that good. Only seen him vs weak competition for a couple quarters
user avatar

Saban is 68. He's not going to try to hang on like Bowden and Paterno did. Besides, Coach O is gonna make that arse quit. Much like Saban forced Urban Meyer out of the SEC.

Right or wrong. Neuheisel is a loon.

Before Tua, Alabama seemed to still win with marginal QBs. They will just need to adjust to more of a running game now.
user avatar
CajunBullet53 months
They'll have a "Game Manager" in Jones. But the question is can they win a football game in a Shootout?
user avatar
RECConspiracy53 months
CajunBullet, This is the question many Bama fans are honestly asking themselves, myself included. The problem is as I see it, we have never had such a marginal QB with such a marginal defense.
user avatar
TigerFan5555553 months
they have a game manager, but they dont have the elite Defense theyve always had... they got the play makers and the OLine on O but injuries have killed their D this year...
user avatar
imjustafatkid53 months
If you keep saying it every year, eventually it will be true.

Neuheisel is anti-establishment, and pro-LSU. Big fan. haha
user avatar
cajunguy53 months
Neuheisel is all West coast fan. Knows nothing bout the sec, he is kind of an coach Oeaux fan. But this is the end of bama championships coach Oeaux putting a stop to that bama run and will route the tide

Headline is misleading

Right. I thought he was talking about their long-term run, not just this season.

All Neuheisel is saying is they’re done this season. He's simply saying their run of CFP appearances is over. Until now Bama had been in every one.
