AL.com is reporting that former Alabama running back Altee Tenpenny was killed in a one-car wreck Tuesday.

Tenpenny was traveling through Mississippi on Mississippi Highway 1 when he collided with a utility pole and was ejected from the vehicle.
quote:

Emergency personnel rushed Tenpenny to Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Miss. where he passed away from injuries sustained in the one-car crash. He was the only person injured in the wreck.

Mississippi Highway Patrol and an accident reconstruction crew are still investigating the cause of the accident, according to Dunn.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Tenpenny family.

Thanks for removing the previous post about his arrest with the snarky comments (including one made by me). No longer the time to discuss that. This is so sad.
