Florida defensive back J.C. Jackson, who was charged with armed robbery in April, will not be returning to Gainesville next season, according to Yahoo Sports:
According to InsideTheGators.com, Jackson was told he was not going to be allowed to be on scholarship while he had the felony charges still unresolved and he has chosen to transfer.
Per Fightin' Gators, the charge is expected to be dropped later this week and Jackson is expected to be able to return to attending classes. However the University Athletic Association has decided he won't be allowed to return to the team.
Jackson redshirted last season following a shoulder surgery.
