After a heated argument on-and-off the air between Paul Finebaum and Alabama head coach Nick Saban regarding that arrest of two Crimson Tide football players, Finebaum came to a new theory as to what Saban might think actually happened with the incident.

According to Finebaum, Saban thinks the arresting officers might have been LSU fans.

"He indicated that the police were LSU fans, yeah," Finebaum said. "I think that’s accurate." (The Advocate)

Within earshot of media, Saban launched into a four-letter tirade directed at Finebaum. In it, he used his fingers to note the small amount of marijuana found in the car and insinuated the arresting officers were disgruntled LSU fans. (AL.com)
Alabama offensive tackle Cam Robinson and defensive back Laurence "Hootie" Jones were both arrested on May 16th in Monroe, LA on charges of possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen gun.

The charges were dropped by DA Jerry Jones who cited insufficient evidence in proving who was in possession of the gun and the drugs.

Monroe is in North Louisiana aka East Texas. They have no clue who to pull for. But DA is full of BS too. This is clearly a political release. Cases taken to grand jury like this every day. Look for him to be driving new Mazda soon. Wasn't lack of evidence it was lack of balls, and/or need for new car.

"insufficient evidence in proving who was in possession of the gun and the drugs." Wait, so if i want to get away with having illegal firearms and drugs, all i have to do is have two other people in the car with me so the cops cant decide who to blame???? WTF is this. I thought the owner of the vehicle was responsible if no one claimed possession. Wonder who owned the vehicle? hmmm

It's one thing to say that to regular Alabama media but to say that to with the national media standing by at media days? Chill Nick.
