ESPN is ranking the Top 25 players in the SEC in 2013, and we will be featuring the Top 15 on the SEC Rant. LSU running back Jeremy Hill came in at No. 12.

The ranking is based solely on performance during the 2013 season, and is based on how players performed in key games and clutch situations. Here is what ESPN had to say about Hill:

After returning to the lineup against UAB, Hill rushed for at least 100 yards in seven of the remaining 11 games, finishing the fall with 1,401 yards -- the second-best rushing total in school history -- and 16 touchdowns. He was also the team's third-leading receiver with 181 yards on 18 catches.
