Taylor, who spent this past season at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson, Mississippi, was one of eight early enrollees announced by the Crimson Tide on Wednesday.

Taylor, from Millen, Georgia, still faces two felony counts of aggravated assault in Athens, Georgia. He was arrested on July 22, after police say he struck his girlfriend with a closed fist and choked her during an argument at his dormitory room at McWhorter Hall. A UGA police report said Taylor is 6-foot-4 and 340 pounds; police said his girlfriend is 5-foot-11, 170 pounds.
Taylor was also one for four Georgia football players arrested Taylor was also one of four Georgia players arrested back in March on misdemeanor charges of theft by deception for allegedly double-cashing meal-reimbursement checks.

As a redshirt freshman at Georgia in 2013, Taylor played in 10 games and recorded nine tackles with one sack.

He was rated as a four-star prospect out of Jenkins County High School in Millen, GA.

My school hasn't won anywhere near the big games Bama has, but I'd be absolutely humiliated to be a Tide fan today. This is seriously sad stuff.

Not to defend Bama, but I didn't see anything saying he is joining their football team, just that he enrolled in classes. If he makes their roster, then yeah, shame on them. I bet we'll hear how everyone deserves a second chance

Not a good day for the Alabama football program or the national perception of the SEC as a whole.

Bama's 2014 recruiting class had 4 guys arrested before they lined up to take a snap for the 2014 season. Nothing to see here.

I agree. This should have been put to a team vote instead of Saban making the call.
