Arkansas sophomore defensive end Tevin Beanum was arrested Sunday for driving while intoxicated and illegally possessing alcohol, according to 5NewsOnline.com:

He was booked into the Washington County Detention Center at 6:23 a.m., records show.

According to the arrest report, Beanum agreed to take the standardized field sobriety test in which the officer wrote in his notes that “Beanum performed in a manner consistent with an intoxicated person.” The officer’s notes also indicate that an open bottle of brandy was found in the backseat of Beanum’s vehicle.

The report also states that Beanum was administered a BrAC test and “the result was .08.”
Beanum played in 12 of the Razorbacks’ 13 games and recorded 11 total tackles.
