McCarron was also asked about the distribution of Blake Sims’ passes and if he thought Amari Cooper was targeted too often. McCarron said he thought the Tide should be spreading the ball more.

“I don’t know if that’s Lane doing that or if coach Saban is kind of putting the handcuffs on Lane like I’ve known Coach to do in the past on his offensive coordinator and we’re going to be very bland and run this play and do this and we’ll throw it on third down if we have to,” McCarron told the Tide 99.1 audience. “It’s going to be interesting to see how they bounce back against Arkansas this week and what kind of offense comes out this week.”

You quoted McCarron on the play calling and pass distribution, but then supplied tweets that discussed his comments on team leadership. Where are McCarron's comments on the team lacking leadership?

In a lot of ways I agree with McCarron, and I feel like winning 3 national titles at Alabama makes him fairly qualified to make those statements.
