These kids are 17 and situations change. UF is about to fire their DC, who recruited this kid. Anyone who blames him for changing his mind is not thinking.

Is he really committed to de-committing, though?

Smart move--florida's program is in disarray and they will be firing a bunch of coaches soon.

Paying players. A playoff. No ACT/SAT requirements. It IS just a business now. College Football has nothing to do with "college" anymore. It's just another pro league now. College Football is the USFL with the illusion of an academic mission. But no one is really fooled.

"Stick to you commitments..."? You guys are a bunch of thoughtless dicks if you're expecting 17 year olds not to change their minds. You realize this is the biggest decision of their lives so far and maybe they got carried away by their emotions?

True story. I signed up for the Marines 3 months after my 17th birthday. Had to wait 8 months until I left for boot camp. I second guessed my decision at times, got a little scared at times. Got to boot camp and said wtf have I done. I did my 5 years honorably and never wavered. Imagine that, it can be done. And I never cared if anybody "respeck my decision".

Earn some of your respect by sticking to your commitment. And look up the definition of respect.
