I would use the Notre Dame practice time to scheme for USCe. Win that one and build momentum for the SEC schedule.

I’m cautiously optimistic. Offense overwhelmed MTSU in the second half, and the defense looked solid. We will have to wait until Notre Dame to see if this team can compete at a higher level. Also, I thought the targeting call was right, but just shows how ludicrous the rule is.

I just kinda shrugged at the result yesterday. It was last year's game in reverse. Instead of coming out with a fairly open playbook then going super conservative with a comfortable lead, we came out super conservative then opened it up after halftime to pull away.

If a team scores 70, they clearly are not terrible if you fail to defend them properly. I do think we will handle them fairly well. Their defense was baby poo soft, so I would expect that we can score basically however many points we need. My prediction is something like 35-17.
