Can you believe this guy? He blows the goal line stand way out of proportion IMO. Plus he claims there were 3 penalties, but that's misleading bc two of them happened on the same play.

He also spoke at halftime on the stream version, and kept saying how big their stop before halftime was because those 4 points would be the difference in the 2nd half. Why is he so salty?

He isn't really wrong about anything he said though...

That goal line deal was pathetic and embarrassing. No other way to slice it.

That goal line stand by Florida was amazing. As for his comments on Georgia, they are accurate. We can't stop a strong running team, and Alabama is as good as there is this year. Add in their passing game and I can't think of any team that can beat them.

Best case scenario, we win out, keep it respectable against Bama, and make it to New Orleans or Atlanta for a NY6 against Oklahoma or Michigan.

We are not beating Bama with our personnel. Hell, we may not beat Kentucky if we can’t match their emotion on the road. Ideally we can go 11-2 into a big bowl game but we are going to have to claw to get there.

I think we beat Kentucky as well, probably by two touchdowns. Kentucky will hang around early because they have a lot of heart and a lot to play for.

Florida has a defense good enough to stop LSU and stuff our OL again and again on the goal line. We did not play or coach our best game.

And we beat a Top 10 ranked Florida team by 19.

Pardon me if I enjoy the hell out of this win and think our future is bright.

It was a realistic assessment. The fact that we couldn't punch the ball in with all of those attempts says a lot. UGA is not nearly as good as last season.

But our defense this year is the big concern. As the article notes, we were one of the top teams in the country against the run last year; now we're 8th in the SEC.

With almost 70% of the two-deep being freshman and sophomores, this does feel like a rebuilding year.

But with the recruiting we've had, it seems that we should start to get into the mode of reloading versus rebuilding. Alabama puts people into the NFL every year and yet they maintain consistency.

We’re not the LOS team we need to be. Every expert in CFB knows that. We’re rebuilding that as we speak, but we’re 1-2 seasons away. I hope Chaney learned some things about our TE and deep capabilities today. We’re not good enough to simply pound the LOS. We have to loosen up good D’s with variety. We need to wrap up and contain on D. We really miss Roquan. He was special with contain and tackling. We’ll win the East but get smoked by Bama in the SECCG. Bama and Clempson in the final. It’s a toss us from there.

We have a lot of key injuries on both lines. I'll take this win..

Kirby took LSU for granted and learned from it. No ficking around today.

I mean, Florida's really good and experienced on the LOS and we're young and injury-riddled. Not that surprising. Yes, the goal-line stand was an abortion, but the rest of the game I thought we held our own up front against a really good OL and front 7.

Florida fans are bitching about 2 DBs being out, but we've had injuries to three of our top OL and almost all of our interior DL.

I didn't read the story, but running the ball straight up the middle 6 straight times and not being able to get it in the end zone is concerning. A play action could have done the trick.

It was a critical point in the game that, had we scored might have put Florida away.

No, best case scenario is if by some miracle LSU wins over Bama in Death Valley.. and we get them in the SECCG.

It's definitely reasonable that our injured OL had something to do with the lack of push yesterday. But thing about that, is we will return to full strength in the upcoming weeks.

Yesterday had given me flashbacks of our team from last year, with the play calling and all, which was much improved from before. Kirby didn't have to do anything crazy to win, he took the points where he needed, presumably because of the fake field goal attempt at LSU.

Say what you want, but UK's win yesterday might be a gift for our team. Kirby will continue to have the team practice at high intensity since this game is do-or-die. And if we win it and we should have a lot of swagger to carry moving Frommward

We REALLY miss Roquan, he was the difference maker on D for us last year.

That said, I am liking what Jordan Davis is doing right now, he could develop into a stud for UGA
