Would UGA be the best team in the country if our pitchers didn't go down??

I would think so but I don't follow baseball enough to know.

Let's not start any rumors.

Just spitballing, but probably not ahead of UCLA. Our bats still went cold mid-season... But we likely would have been able to take an additional 2+ SEC matchups and could have finished first in the conference.

Our production at the plate is our weakness.

If Sasser was still here and Bradley wasn’t hurt, possibly. Otherwise it’s our bats that are the weak point of our game. Fortunately they’ve been just good enough this season to win us a lot of games and guys like Sully, Cable, and Shepherd are finally beginning to heat up
