Keep in Jax unless we get 9-game sec schedule then you have to drop it. Or drop GT.

Doesn’t matter what anybody thinks.

Kiss Jacksonville goodbye, cause it’s gone.

And if you don’t like that fact, I hope you’re not one of the zombies that begged for a playoff. Because this and all the rest was sewn in the seeds of that evil shite.

It took it a few years to completely ruin Bowl season, but 2018 was the end of that. It’s done and can never come back. And Now TDSOR is moved to October. And oh yeah, Say goodbye to cbs in 2023 when contract runs out cause Espn will get that slot and own CFb entirely. Wall to wall. And you’ll beg for Beth mowins after she’s replaced by a transgender muslim. And that’ll also be the year the pre-NFL goes to 8 game play off , if not before but whatevs.

Keep it in Jacksonville.

I understand wanting an extra recruiting weekend, but that game at that site has consistently been one of the best atmospheres in college football for decades.

Also, I think it’s benefitted young players to play in that atmosphere. It basically feels like a conference championship or playoff game with the 50/50 crowd and high stakes.

I'm probably one of the few that want to see the game on each campus.

This could be a play by UGA and Florida to get Jacksonville to sweeten the pot so the game stays in that town.

so what? The team flies out of Athens down to the Jax area then drives to their hotel. I have no idea how UF gets there, but if they are taking buses it's reasonable to say that the travel time for both teams is pretty darn similar. Once you're in the stadium there is no advantage either way.

The fact that the stadium itself is like 30 miles into FL doesn't make it some huge disadvantage.

Home and home

It's a loss of a recruiting weekend in what is our largest conference game most years.

It loss of revenue to the city of Athens and state of GA

It's a disadvantage in scheduling losing a home game and limiting who we can schedule. (A bunch of these newly minted home & home will go away without this game being moved home & home.)

I’ve never understood this complaint. I never hear Oklahoma fans complaining that the site they play Texas in happens to be in the state of Texas. The game is as close as possible to the state line.

Also - look at this photo:

Does that look like a Florida home game?

Umm...no. No they won’t. Where do you even get that notion?

So if the game isn’t moved, we won’t play any of the trillion games we’ve scheduled over the next decade?

Kirby said he would like it to be home and home so he can get recruits to take in our biggest game of the year, and I get what he's saying, but it's not like we're hurting for recruits, so I'd prefer to keep it in Jax. We can't let all the traditions die, and the Jax trip is always a blast.

Rotate it with Athens//Gainesville/Jacksonville every 3 years.

this is so overblown to me, and yes I know it's what kirby it trumpeting the most. I doubt we've ever lost a recruit to another school becuase he didn't get to watch us play UF at home. And in years when it's in gainesville we can't recruit them anyway. If this was goff or something and we were getting lapped in recruiting I'd maybe understand it more, but kirby has proven to be one of the top 2-3 recruiters in the country and we're recruiting better than we have in our entire history. I don't think spitting in the face of almost 100 years of tradition and losing the most unique game in CFB is worth it to get 1 more recruiting weekend every other year.

Jax.

I appreciate change and new ideas, but I also think there is something special about tradition. The WLOCP has been enjoyed for generations and is one of the few neutral site games that remains. There’s really not another game that compares. I meet a lot of fans for other teams or conferences that wouldn’t want to go to another UGA game but want to attend the cocktail party.
