He was forging Thomas Kincaid paintings and selling them. The felony charge isn’t due to the monetary value of the forgeries, it’s because he was replicating shite-arse work from a shite-arse painter.

All Felonies in Georgia are mandatory 1 year sentence....If found guilty. Most stuff is plead out nowadays though.

Shoplifting can be a felony if you take enough.

He could have stolen a check and signed it, and then tried to cash it, or deposit it.
