Jarvis Hayes was a freaking monster in his two years here...I'll never forget his game winner to beat Florida in 2002.

Jarvis Jones of course, was very good and that's why it's known as the Jarvis Jones game. Stopping a game winning td

There have been innumerable great linebackers at Georgia. Hayes is a top 5 player in school history and had the basketball team decently ranked, and I will forever contend that team that spineless gutless turd Adams held out of postseason was final 4 quality.

I can remember the sign outside of Guthrie’s now...“Tony Cole Doesn’t Eat Here”. That team got completely hosed. Front page news in big bold letters, and when the charges were dropped on Thomas there was barely a snippet on the back page of the Red & Black.

I know you said respective sports, but I just can't compute it. Football is so much more important to me than basketball. If I had to choose between 15 basketball wins or a win in football over UF, I would pick the football win every time. So for that reason I pick Jones.

A walk-on part in a war versus a lead role in a cage. And Jarvis was much more than just another player.
