I get it now. You're telling me you're unable to talk about this due to your new role? Interesting.
Anyways, I remember after the first ones swallowed their pride and started returning to the GSB, I swung by the ol' dawGyard to see what could of possibly happened where they'd return to a board they claimed to dislike so much. And, under the dust and cob webs, in the last posts on there that were a year or so old, I didn't see any complaining about the format.
It actually looked pretty slick and had the exact same features as this one, and more. Plus no meanie CHicken or admins or bannings or squares to get in the way of e-outlaw cool-dudery. Ha ha ha. So classic.
Chicken won hard on that one.

You are right, chef is wrong, the format was great.
There just wasn't any content. "Hey we're here on a new site!"
It was the off season.
See the way this shite is supposed to go, you create an alternative.... so as people get disgusted, disappointed, banned, you pick them up.
And you have content there waiting. Even if you have to steal it.
But that takes time. If your horizon is six months, you're dead.
They did it wrong. But there was absolutely some TD nazi shite going on at that time that spurred it. It wasn't just a cool club.

its been years ago now but it was that old school message board layout. and I never said it was completely bad. I think you could imbed youtube vids which was cool. And everybody talked about how much slicker the TD/DR layout was by comparison. Everybody Either way. Neither chicken nor any of the posters won or lost a fricking thing in the deal. Cost no one a red cent, time from their lives, stress etc etc
Its like you could jump in a time machine, spin the dial, and no metter when you landed youd find the same exact kunty people droning on and on with the same exact kunty crybaby rants for multiple pages

But anyway you are correct in that 99% of it was that chicken was doing some Stalinist shite at the time and it sucked pretty bad. I think thats right around the ribbon cutting of the SECr or something and he had zero tolerance for shenanigans or off topic posting

You're acting like DawGyard just closed it's doors after 6 months though.... when it was open for anyone to post on for years. The 6 months number is just the approximate time it took for the place to completely bomb. In the most hilarious fashion. Even though you couldn't get banned, and "anything goes", and there were no "nazi" admins, etc etc and all the other things which were suppose to be the ingredients for message board cool duuder e-clique utopia.
Anyway, once again guyz, Dawgyard failed due to it's state of the art super slick format. And nobody ever came crawling back to the GSB afterwards. In fact these hilarious excuses aren't even being posted on the exact board they hated and trashed. And Chicken did NOT win, Mmmkay? Everyone got that? Now just forget it ever happened, please! Like I said, they provided no content. No draw. Here, at least you have 50 circus sideshows when the board is slow.
