Put me down as 12-0. I don’t see a team that can beat us other than AU and A&M but we’re not going to let AU get us this year and have A&M at home.

Special season boys and girls. The last two were training for this one.

12-0

Not sure if we win a Natty but I see this team running the regular season table.

Luckily, COFH won’t take that much extra prep this year. Miracles aside, Tech will be absolute dog shite this year. No triple option to prepare for, dawgs roll easily. They won’t be worried about tech at all.

Agree. The worst part of the 4 game stretch
is no off week after UF.I correctly picked
our loss to LSU last year before the season but have to go with 11-1 and a loss
to AU.Its now THE GAME for their fan base since they've thrown in the towel on the Bama rivalry.Man,those MF'rs have really elavated their hate for us since we started to dominate the series.

From paper yes, that’s true..
but you know that Geoff Collins has circled 2 games for the season, the first and the last; Clemson and the Dawgs.. and he doesn’t have to win he just has to show they aren’t afraid to be physical... so GT will throw every haymaker they can.

Not sure which one we lose, but I’m certain we’ll lose one. It’s not easy to make it through a 12 game season unscathed, especially in this conference, and we haven’t had an undefeated regular season in almost 40 years. I think we can win the conference and we’re a legit contender for the National Title, but I do think we slip up somewhere along the way.

This is the first time since joining here that I've predicted an 11-win (or better) regular season.

As many have already mentioned, there isn't a particular game on the schedule that I'm expecting to lose. I'm basing the 11-1 prediction on college football being unpredictable where one team comes out hot and catches us on an off day (2017 Auburn, 2018 LSU, etc).

I'm surprisingly confident about the Notre Dame and Florida games. It's the ones that no one is talking about in the preseason that give me a little concern (@ Tennessee, South Carolina).

I always see one loss, but this year lines up too well.

ND is NOT coming down to Athens and taking a game. They lost 5 starters on D and 3 to the draft along with over half their tackles. They also lost to the draft #1 rusher, receiver, and TE - all of that from a team that simply didn't have the talent or the speed of UGA at any level on offense or defense. That game is going to get ugly.

UF will lose. The O-Line just doesn't match up and they just don't have the players to stop UGA from moving the ball on the ground. The game is late enough in the year for our WR talent to overcome their ever-so-slightly more experienced secondary, and although Franks pads stats against cupcakes he consistently plays poorly against good defenses.

A&M is the biggest hurdle, but they're overmatched and clearly not as good at any position. They're also going through a meat grinder this season. Yes, UGA will have just played Mizzou at home and Auburn on the road but A&M will have already played Alabama, Auburn, and Clemson with LSU coming the following week - and they'll be coming to Athens, where UGA hasn't lost in over 2 seasons.

The bottom line is this:

1. UGA has the experience and the motivation to win every game they're supposed to win - which is every game.

2. There is no team on the schedule that has close to the same talent on the O-Line or front 7.

3. UGA can expect much better QB play from Fromm than any opposing signal caller.

Barring injury, I don't expect UGA to lose a game in the regular season - not this time.

Auburn says hello... We've got a ton of talent but Auburn's front four starters outclass our starting front 3+1... Fortunately, they've got questions at LB and while their DBs have experience, I don't think they're that talented.

That’s just simply ridiculous... Our O-Line will be the best in football... AU’s D-Line is good... but don’t talk them up as if they’re Clempson.

The game will be played in their house... their crowd will be insane which probably will make them play super jacked up... it really all depends on both teams health, and what is on the line. If UGA is undefeated, and AU is undefeated or only has 1 loss, that game could be bigger than 2017. Playoff/National Title implications.

Derrick Brown
Marlon Davidson
Nick Coe
Coynis Miller

I think its safe to say our Dline is on par with that. The only difference is we have more depth. Auburn run a 4-2, and they have nothing behind the starting 4.

Look, you can criticize Auburn for lack of depth, but to suggest that our starting DL is on par with theirs is just blind homerism.

What does our OL have to do with comparing the starting talent on our DL? Reading comprehension is your friend kids... I didn't say we were going to lose to them, simply that I disagree with the assessment that there is "no team on the schedule with the same level of talent on the DL."

I think its safe to say our Dline is on par with that

... If this is what you feel it's safe to say, it's clear we're not going to find common ground that approaches rational and objective thought. Given performances to date, there is not a reasonable way to look at UGA's defensive line production and say we've got more STARTING talent than they do, or really even equivalent... Quick reminder, I was pretty specific with my statement... "Auburn's front four starters outclass our starting front 3+1"...

If you look back, you'll note that I didn't pick Auburn as a "we will lose game", but it's fair to say that their DL talent certainly can create matchup problems.

If you think this is somehow off base, please show us which players are equivalent or have superior production relative to this group of players as a whole.

Derrick Brown - Currently the top rated DT on majority of NFL draft boards
Notable stats over the past 2 seasons: 20 Total TFL, 7.5 Sacks, 100+ total tackles, 3 Forced Fumbles

Nick Coe - Top 5ish DE/Edge draft prospect for 2020
Notable stats over past 2 seasons: 18 Total TFL (13.5 over 9 games last year - shortened due to injury), 9 sacks,

Marlon Davidson - Likely Round 2-3 pick at DE/Edge
Has averaged 5+ TFL and 2.5 Sacks per year over last 3 seasons - as well as about 40ish total tackles each year. Couple of Forced Fumbles over his career as well.

Coynis Miller - Only one season thus far, but managed to play in 5 games on a talented and reasonably deep DL in 2018 - registering 5 tackles, 1 TFL. Top 100ish overall player, #10 DT recruit...

Don't get me wrong. We've got talent on the DL... we're not trotting out scrubs. But you're sorely mistaken if you think our DL has been on par with Auburn's DL up to this point... Anything that tries to equate the two is wishful thinking at this point based on what you are projecting our DL to grow into this year...

Bump. Looking like 11-1 is gonna be the number. Don't think anyone predicted the one loss to Carolina
