For those of us who predicts a loss or two, which team and why? For me its Auburn because we will be on their turf or the ND game because they want payback.

11-1. Losing one to either ND, Auburn or ATM....and leaning toward one of the latter 2, particularly Auburn, since it is that time of year where we have gone on the road and destroyed the bed linens 2 years running.....

It's not so much a specific game that I'd predict a loss... just that 1) we haven't had an undefeated regular season in a long time, 2) while the schedule is "favorable" in many ways, the end of the year stretch is still no joke. Despite people wanting to paint UF as just abysmal, they have enough talent to win with the right things going their way. Similarly for Mizzou, with the game placement being an easy candidate for a letdown after getting "up" for the UF game. Auburn on the road obviously a wild-card... if they get great QB play from their new QB(s), they have the defensive talent to cause problems. Texas A&M at home comes on a long stretch of "no breaks"... health could be a factor, they could also be a lot better than predicted, and we've not played them so have no real gauge for how we match up with their talent.
It seems easy to predict one loss out of that pool of unknowns (and frankly 2 wouldn't utterly shock me, though it would be disappointing for sure). I'd be happy to be wrong though.

Auburn for no other reason than it's at their place and Auburn always has some funky juju going on in the odd years. I'll hedge this one by saying Kirby is seeking revenge for that 2017 blowout though. He wants to put a hurt on them in their house.
Texas A&M is the one that scares me a little bit though. I think we win at night between the hedges but Jimbo is still a good coach and we don't need to underestimate them at all.
11-1

12-0
1. Notre Dame game is at home.
2. Florida/Auburn games are in November. Those elite Freshman receivers won't be freshman anymore. And I think Zamir White, Zeus would have have enough carries by then to make an impact.
3. Most talented roster ever at UGA. Man for man no one on the schedule comes close. And that includes the 2 deep.
btw the last 2 years I predicted 11-1.
Side note...

TX A&M is not worrisome for me. Probably because we are playing them in Athens and some will disagree with me on this but I think Jimbo is overrated.

I say it’s either UF, AU or A&M.
I think we beat Notre Dame.

I laughed.
Yeah, for whatever reason I'm just not overly concerned with Notre Dame this year. We should be well poised for the game and IMHO, their roster is worse in 2019 than it was in 2017. I'd say ours is closer to on par... even if I do think slightly behind due to no Roquan more than anything. And we get the game at home with some opportunities to work out the kinks first.

LOL! You've got a valid point. Them being in the playoffs last year was a joke but again, don't underestimate anyone.

There's a lot of variables,
turnovers
injuries
motivation
But I trust Jake and Kirby.

11-1 I just believe the grind of the season may catch up to us by the time we play Florida, Missouri, @ Auburn and Texas A&M. That is 4 good teams.

12-0, losses to nobody. Kirby will have these boys focused. Only that could stop us is injuries imo.

We will split Auburn and A&M. Probably be good for the team. Nothing brings a team together like adversity or a loss

same here. We haven't had an undefeated regular season since 82 and we aren't at bama's level right now (nor have the favorable schedule of clemson). I don't think there's a single team on our schedule that I would say is better than us, or hell any that shoudl or woudl even be favored over us come gametime. I'm just not going to predict 12-0 until I see it actually happen once to show we can do it.

If you're bored, these guys did a pretty good job breaking down the season outlook as it stands in the offseason, and kind of acknowledge how sneaky difficult the back end of our schedule is... LINK

thansk I'll check it out later. And I wouldn't call the back end "sneaky" difficult at all, it's plain old difficult. Tech is really the only gimme with the 4 games in a row after the bye all being very tough. I don't think any of the 4 are better than us but put em all together and who knows.

Texas Am
They have talent... they probably will be better later, because Mond should be in complete control of the offense by then after basically 2 full season with Jimbo...
The schedule comes at a bad time for UGA(even though it’s home) UF, Mizz, at Auburn (playing them after they had a bye) and now playing AM After they have been at home 4 straight weeks (MSU, UTSA, bye, USC) and UGA has been traveling 2 out of 3 weeks and fighting for the East .... plus COFH is the next week. AM will probably have at least 2 losses at this point and be looking to play spoiler...
I just think timing is wrong... and Mond and their young talent will be ready.
