I can’t recall a game ever where we got beat by more than 2 TDs when we had so few penalties. Some of the most poorly disciplined teams of the Richt years would have all kinds of senseless penalties in games where we lost by a bunch. Multiple personal fouls, procedure penalties AFTER a time out, etc.. Hell, we won a crap ton of games with 10-15 penalties.

We had 3 penalties for 20 yds on Saturday. Just thought that was interesting.

The most telling stat to me and really where the game was settled was they were 4/4 on 4th downs and they beat us in TOs 4-0. With the way Chaney and Smart managed our offensive scheme, there was no way we overcome 4 TOs.

But that penalty thing surprised me when I went back and looked at it.

It was all about momentum we had two chances to seize it and failed both times. Entering the 4th we were only down 10 and forced LSU to punt. Had a good cance to make it 19-16 or 19-12 and shite the bed which gave way to LSU breaking our back and running away

We need to consider that Kirby promoted his buddy to QB coach and assistant OC in January. Is this why Fromm has regressed from last year? Does Coley influence play calling on the field?

1 turnover was the Fake FG and Rod actually fumbled it. Going to be a TOD anyway...

Only 2 that really hurt were Fromm's INT which gave them excellent field position and Hardman's fumble which did as well. LSU scored a FG off both Turnovers. Other was INT when LSU already had the game with 3 mins left.
