I prefer the "sneak liquor in and don't act a fool" method. As soon as alcohol becomes a revenue source, you can kiss those mini-bottles in your cargo shorts goodbye.

Security theater is just theater until it is directly attached to revenue. Then theater goes away.

i don't do that. I'm the guy that's been buying season tickets since 1968 and helping fund scholarships and improvements in the athletic department. I've never been drunk at a game and yelled obscenities or puked on other fans, and I have just as much right to voice my opinion as you do. I didn't insult you as you did me, so that simply shows your lack of class and manners.

No you're not.You immediately assumed those in favor of beer sales like to "get drunk and make fools of themselves" and "have to get drunk to enjoy the game" How in the world are you making those leaps in logic?

I don't drink at games simply because I don't like liquor but I might drink a beer or two during a game especially if it's hot.

Doesn't really matter though.As Rig pointed out we are completely incompetent when it comes to concessions so adding beer sales is something that would be logistically impossible with our current leadership.

How many of you have ever.....


-looked at your watch while tailgating to see how much drinking time is left before game time?

-increased your rate of drinking as kickoff time approaches because you won't be able to drink in stadium?

-stuffed a beer in every available pocket for the walk to stadium?

-stood outside gates finishing all these beers, knowing that a four hour prohibition era is about to commence?


I see a lot of heads nodding and hands raised.


Ladies and gentlemen, stadium prohibition actually increases fan drinking. NOt just more quantity, but it also generates an increase in rate of drinking.


Also, this is America not communist china. So, WTF? Do the right thing. Beer sales will actually decrease alcohol-related problems and save lives.
