Who was the guy that moved to Hawaii and never did an interview then finally did a biography with a journalist

Jake was the ultimate ball hawk and the most fearless punt returner I ever saw. He played my freshman and sophomore year. The dude was my all time favorite.

He hangs out at a few local bars around me when he's in town.

Still a great read
Met a guy from Hawaii today that knows everyone....knows “The Mayor” and “Art,” but didn’t know or hear of Jake. Took me a min to remember his name (weekend at the wineries in Dahlonega will do that).
Amazing how he just disappeared for 15+ years. Love how he was on a 3 day fishing trip when they called to tell him he was in the HoF and when he got back and saw how many messages he had, he immediately thought someone had passed away.

Great article.He's always lived life on his terms with no concessions.Dont make em like that anymore.
