Anyone know what’s going on? I saw that we had fallen behind with Kessler and I thought he was going to be our centerpiece. I saw in 24/7 that Auburn had a great chance for him......I just don’t know.

Anyone have a good idea of what’s happening recruiting wise?

He is, and was always, going to Duke.

He’s probably going to Duke. Sucks. Whole family played at UGA (dad, brother and uncle). Exactly what we needed to keep our momentum going. Shitty we can’t even pull a legacy like that. It is what it is

Exactly what I said. Sucks we can't keep the momentum going with a legacy. We sign the best class ever and can't get a guy whose dad, uncle and brother played here. Say what you want, I am as optimistic as most UGA fans, but this is telling of our bball program. It is what it is

we fell behind for him like 2 years ago. Once fox was fired we had zero shot.

It stinks but oh well. We'll move on.

The kid grew up in a UGA household, with a father and brother that played for the University. His final 5 has some good programs on it, no doubt.

That being said, the only other list that exists which includes Spokane, Washington and not Athens, GA is the list of top 5 rural cities located near a university. Which explains Auburn and UM. UNC and Duke just happen to be blue bloods located in rural NC

Clearly he doesn't feel like he has what it takes to make the NBA without playing for a top program. There's nothing wrong with that. Some players needed others around them to make themselves better.

We want players that despite how terrible our program is want to contribute anyway, like Edwards. UGA basketball will not propel you to the NBA on its own. You also need to have skill. That's the difference between Duke/UNC basketball.

Crean with a late addition to the class.
