If commentators were correct, that's the first time we've scored 100 in a game since the season opener in...

2007

All hail Crean.

We scored like 120 in an exhibition game a few years ago

Gotcha... so nothing in the "regular season", though tough to count Sav. St. as much more than a glorified exhibition either... Fair.

All I can say is this offense looked different than anything we've fielded under Fox. Time will tell if it remains that way going forward (as well as how efficient/successful it may be).

We look like a team that will probably score a lot but also give up a lot. I guess it will even out in the end. It’s still a more exciting product overall. I think Crean can win here.

Agreed. Passes way off the mark often. Will cause turnovers and missed offensive opportunities until we can get those cleaned up... but it's an entirely different style. I really think this team will get more efficient the more they run this style. On the upside, there are chances for growth during this OOC slate... If we can grow, there is enough "perceived talent" in the SEC, that we can offset mistakes with some wins over good teams. I don't expect us to make the tournament, but it's also not out of the cards depending on the development through the year.

Worst case, I'm with you... the product is more enjoyable, which should make it easier to get fan engagement back to early 2000s levels. Get that + put together wins, and you've got a recipe for sustainable success.

ETA: I agree that Crean can win, but I think we need to make sure we clarify what that means. I can see him making the tournament with some degree of regularity... and deliver a tournament win here or there... Not sure if I know what his ceiling is yet, but I think that is a reasonable expectation right now.

Crean off to a great start. I have a great feeling about him and UGA. He seems to be a great fit and there is just so much talent to recruit in Georgia. I got a voice mail from the UGA ticket office. I have no idea how they got my phone number but they were pushing UGA ticket packages.
