That’s why I’m not tuning in as intently as I have done in the last. This was the first game I’ve really watched front and back this season; we don’t have a presence like Yante or JJ, we have a bunch of guys who do some things well and then totally shite themselves and they’re trying to do things a complete different way than they’ve been used to and recruited to. I’ll save my enthusiasm for if Crean can actually get some legitimate talent in here consistently in the next couple of years

I don’t mind getting beat by a guy like Martin for ASU who just put the team on his back and won. It’s frustrating but good players make you pay and that basketball. But the absolute stupid sequence of events in the last 2-3 minutes is too much

not attacking your stance, but claxton and hammonds are those kinds of talents, if not even more naturally talented, and are showing all the signs of developing into those types of players. they are both sophomores and are on track to be conference POY candidates in a couple years.
we desperately need a point guard and crean will crank up the recruiting, but we do have 2 ultra talented players who are fun and will continue to get even better. this is gonna be a long year, though.

But that’s kind of my point. We should be back to a solid squad in a year or two but this feels every bit like a throwaway season; we’re just wildly inconsistent and panic once the other side applies pressure
Side note: Tom Crean does not seem to be obsessed with playing Mike Edwards like Fox. This pleases me.

Claxton and Hammonds will both develop into fantastic players. Basketball is just really hard when you don’t have a point guard who can control the game.

Here was mine from last year. I did a bad job down the stretch of updating the wins and losses in the 1st page, but always kept the title relevant.

Yeah...the op should absolutely have the roster and schedule in it. And ideally the op would update the title after games which you obviously do a great job of
