I honestly can’t. Yes, refs were awful, Chaney’s second half play calling was bewildering, and Kirby should have made adjustments to help Malcom Parrish out as soon as Tua went in. That said, If you’d told me at the start of the season we’d be playing for the natty this year, I’d have laughed in your face. While the performance on the field didn’t result in a W, I don’t think anyone can look at that game and say we didn’t deserve to be there.

Was really hoping for a Natty in my lifetime though. As the old Georgia saying goes, “there’s always next year.”
