Yep. We got some serious shitbirds in this forum. As soon as one of these players do something they disagree with they try to burn them to the ground. It’s pretty darn pathetic.
Who can fault a young adult for choosing to try their luck in the NFL when they can make some serious money, instead of playing football in college and not get paid and risk injury.
Should T Thompson come back? Maybe, but I'm not going to shite on him for staying or going. Look at G Jarrett who went in the 5th round and is one of the better DTs in the game (tied for the league lead in TFL with A Donald).

I wish Trenton the best.
Some kids are student athletes and some arent. Isaiah mckenzie and Trent thompson are two that could see improvement in the NFL with full time weight training and conditioning and focus on their craft.
They don't need college and the college distractions.

Already in the NFL, but I'm assuming you knew that.
Btw, it hasn't gone very well.

Even with a good combine he is a 3rd rounder at best.

Sounds like he has the yips...sorry to hear about that.
Gonna be tough to get over.

I did.
Without knowing either of them personally, I see them the same.
Personal issues in college. Definitely could have returned.
1 year in the pros does not have to define their career. They can get better and improve just like in college but get paid for it.
I don't blame them at all for not getting the degree. I don't expect the NFL to be easy for them. But I think there will be better resources available to assist with the adjustment.

I’m kinda surprised that he declared, as I agree with most people he could have come back and significantly improved his draft stock.
It does suck for depth, but I think we will be more than fine. We still have a lot of players on the DL, not to mention Wyatt, Beal and Cox all competing this year.

Tsquared is a boss.
He took a step back this year, but was MVP of the Liberty Bowl before that off-season incident. I wish him the best in the NFL.

Michail Carter came in as a highly rated DT. I'm comfortable with the rotation between him and Clark. Those 4* DT's from the 2016 class will be juniors. Call me crazy but with better athletes in the secondary next year's defense should have better production.

Burn them to the ground? I haven't read one thing burning him to the ground. What I have read, and what I said myself, is that the guy never lived up to the hype. Not at all. I would say it if he was staying and most would agree. He is a DGD but purely based on his play this year and nothing else it would serve him well to spend one more year in college. That's not debatable, however his personal issues might be what's pulling the strings but not one person has said he sucks and we won't miss him. Just hate to see a kid bot reach his potential.
Oh and assuming same level of play as this year, we actually will be fine next year, which also is no disrespect to tt
