Honestly/objectively Clemson is the better team. Bama was lucky to win due to special teams play. Saban had huge balls calling that onsides kick. The box score reveals: LINK
Clemson had 13 more first downs and more total yards rushing and passing. That one INT by the Bama defense, the kick return for a TD by Kenyon Drake and that those clutch pass plays to Howard for 203 yards were the difference in the game. Deshaun Watson is easily the best QB in college football right now and god I wish we could have gotten him. He IS the difference maker in the Clemson offense.
