Kirby is a defensive guy and that D is legit. Nolan Smith is a star. Walker is going to be really freaking good. Young corners are solid, and the secondary is playing excellent save about 2 plays a game.

An offensive overhaul isn't necessary - just variance, aggression, and discipline. Fromm has had one of these games every year, but he comes back strong. Coley doesn't need to be Lincoln Riley to score points with these guys, and Georgia doesn't need 50/game to run the table.

This season isn't over by a long shot.

On top of that the future is still bright. Let's all eat a slice of humble pie and hope the team and gets a nice serving as well. If they get to work we can still see an SEC championship this season.

I must be blind. Did you mean to say functional or possibly sold. Legit, as in great? You may be blind,.

Actually a Lincoln Riley is exactly what Georgia needs to be a playoff level team. I agree that the defense is good enough to beat good teams.

The D wasn't great today, but they only gave up 13 points. It was the offense that squirted in the bed.

General stats and advanced stats say otherwise.

Must be. D gave up 10 in regulation even with the O doing them no favors.

Georgia has played nobody. General stats and advanced stats are mental jerkoffs.

Can't argue with that? Notre Dame tried to let USC come back and win tonight. I still don't know how good they are.

Agree with all this

You forgot to mention talent at the WR/Slot.Its painfully obvious we are well behind LSU,UF, Bama and probably Auburn. We just lost too much with Ridley,Hardman and JJ Holloman and then Landers went down early today.I thought Pickens and Blaylock could step up as Freshman but they clearly aren't ready...maybe they grow up this month and be there for our November stretch but I have my doubts.

I think we have the best defense in the SEC along with a solid running game, veteran QB and solid FG kicker (despite today). We have chance to win all the rest of our games but we have to get more continuity with our passing game...not sure that's possible.

I agree that are receivers are not the same caliber as Bama and LSU. And we also need a stud TE to throw to in those 3 & 5 type situations.

I think rod could have made the long one. I knew having one blocked and having the head coach prove to you he doesn’t have faith in your leg he was gonnna miss that last one.

Should have never come down to being on his shoulders like that
