The one at the top and in the second pic is the 17 foot rattler. The one at the bottom in the woods is a 10 footer killed near Visalia, while hunting hogs. The guy holding the bottom snake is 6'2".
I had a better pic of the big rattler, next to a sherriffs car, but couldn't get it to load. The big snake wad caught in St Augustine, coming up off of some brush on the golf course and wad headed into a KB homes subdivision when killed.

Thats not the write up Ive seen, and I can tell ya, the other pic is way more telling. That snake is way bigger than 7ft.

Oh, well, good try anyway. The bottom snake from vidalia is genuinely a little over 10 ft tho.
