I saw Nancy in whole foods once. She has a large head. That's all.

Episode 1 was awkward, but I don't know how it could have not been awkward after such a long hiatus.

Just started Episode 2. So far so good.

Meh. Never finished season 2. I think they should have just ended it after 1.

Kids loved season 3.

I think they did a good job with the new characters and killing off old ones.

My kids (HS and College aged) were up at 5am to binge watch it--big fans. I have never seen a single episode. Other than the 80s soundtrack (my HS days), is this mainly something the kids enjoy or would us old farts like it too?

The show is well written. What makes it a hit is the character development (mostly the kids).

Adults can easily enjoy the characters and flashbacks to a different era.

Our family (10 yo, 12 yo, 13 yo, and 15 yo) woke up at 3am to watch 6 episodes. We polished off the last 2 last night after fireworks. It was fun for the whole family (and the kids slept in very late this morning to heal).

Season 3 is probably better than season 2 because season 2 had a side plot line which was only OK.

It's definitely enjoyable for adults. It's not a "kids" show in any sense whatsoever, it's very mature subject matter, although kids are the stars of the show. It's basically a sci-fi horror version of Stand By Me / The Goonies.

Don't try to start with Season 3 though. Nothing will make any sense.

Episode 2 critique- Spoilerish...

I'm pissed what they've done to Steve. They introduced him years ago as a badass, now he's a schmuck at an ice cream shop. It doesn't make sense to me. It's so terrible that I can't help but think this is just a false flag and he's going to re-emerge as the badass he used to be in some heroic act later in the season.

Never watched a single episode until 2 days ago. Wife and kids are fans and wanted to binge season 3 yesterday so I spend this past week catchup up on season 1 as. 2. Gotta say it’s some of the best tv I’ve watched in a long time. Very well written.

It gets into why the writers/actors do what they do.

Beyond Stranger Things is not the best television.
But after season 2, it explained the transformation of herrington. Season 3 is a continuation of that.

Episode 3 is where things really get moving. That is typical for a lot of Netflix shows for some reason.

Netflix has a way of auto skipping credits and it pisses me off. Would you mind telling me which one?

I just finished e4.

Start of episode 3: why does nobody buy into Mrs Byers at this point? I mean this woman has seen some shite and is always the one to put it all together. When she sees magnets fell off her fridge and thinks it's weird everyone should shut the frick up and listen to the bitch.
