Honestly, The Tudors is up there with Sopranos for me also. I may be in the minority on that one, but that shite was epic ,imo

Haven't watched the Sopranos or Wire. I have HBO go for another 2 month though so I might as well start one of the two.

Breaking Bad and Sons of anarchy are up there. I watched the first episode of the wire and fell asleep halfway thru but I've heard its awesome. Isn't it the one where the black undercover cop goes in prison and gets hooked on smack? If so I saw a few episodes when it originally aired

Nope, that was Oz. The same actor (and a couple others) were on The Wire, though. Wire gets my vote for best ever, too.

It was a great show, ratings and dvd sales of the series were some of the highest for any series (especially for a one on HBO.)
Whoever above said The Wire, that was a great show too.
Breaking Bad is also one of my favorite shows that's still in production.

For any of you non-M/TV board posters, check out Vikings on netflix sometimes from the history channel. They just wrapped a 6 episode pilot that got renewed for next season. It kicks total arse and I'm definitely looking forward to next season

I need to go back and watch the last 3 seasons of The Wire. I was out of work when the first season aired, and I was hooked. Gotta finish the final half of Sopranos last season, too. Game of Thrones is up there, because even when you know what's coming, they still punch you in the crotch.
