Per Schlabaugh on bulldawg roundtable this morning.

He said coaches told him Sony was hurt, something with his hip. That's why he suddenly was absent at the end of the game.

No other details.

Alert the auburn fans who won’t quit complaining that KJ was hurt.

When Swift kept coming in to the the position and not slot, I figured something was up.

Swift will be a great one, maybe better than Chubb and Michel but he is not there yet.

yes, of course we don't know for sure.

It's just insane to sit here today and say a TFr that has never had to carry the load may be better than the 2nd and 3rd all time leading rushers in school history.

I mean Swift is excellent but cmon.

I think both were great but Gurley was better.

I feel they were the best tandem who played for us for multiple seasons and had amazing leadership and loyalty, but we are TBU.... Tailbacks is what we do.

I can't imagine that we'll be a 1 RB offense for quite a long time. Hell, with Zeus and Cook incoming and already adding to a stacked backfield, we likely know who will be carrying the ball for the next 4-5 years.

Agree, next man up. As our oline and QB matures, these guys will look even better.

I'd feel much better hearing this out of Sony's mouth. I could swear he was in for some 3rd down plays late. This smells of covering for poor play calling.

Even if he was doesn't mean he was not 100%. You tend to think you can play as you stand on the sideline and watch.

Swift looks like he could be an actual Heisman candidate. It's very possible he ends up better than both of them.

FWIW, I think Zeus ends up being better than all of them.

I wouldn't mind that!

I just think the way the committee is enamored with RBs that can catch passes out of the backfield, he could legitimately be a candidate in a couple years

I've been very impressed with Swift all year, he's a complete back.

Zeus looks like our next Chubb type back, but remains to be seen if he'll be able to play this year.

Holyfield's been impressive as well, but running in garbage time mostly, curious to see what he can do with meaningful snaps.

Cook is intriguing too, but I don't know much about him other than he seems like the burner type.

In any case, with those 4 and Herrien in the mix, that looks like another ridiculous stable of backs who should be running behind an even better line and with a quarterback with a full year under his belt. We're gonna be solid on O this year, really wondering how bad losses on D will effect that side of the ball.

Hopefully Zeus comes back as most are nowadays after ACL injuries.

Cook’s hands are awesome. I’d love to see him in 2 back sets motioned out wide to get a match up against LBs like we did with Sony in 2014. Think we could actually do it with Swift and Cook on some plays that turn into 5 wide with the wrong personnel on the field for the defense.
