Also, what are people's thoughts on potentially breaking out the black again this year? We haven't worn them since '08 and I feel like they could have the same kind of energetic effect that they had against Auburn in '07. Don't tell anyone, maybe slip subtle hints here and there and then bring them out at the last minute during a big game.

I would rather see the red and silver helmet. The Blackout would be great to see also. Dumb arse people blame the uniforms on big game loses even though we lose games in the traditional uniforms. I say break out either or for Clemson.

I've been wanting another blackout forever, especially to get that 2009 UF game and 2011 Boise State game taste out of my mouth. I really liked the idea of wearing them every time we play Auburn in Athens.

Clemson we shod just go all white. But if South Carolina ends up being a night game, that place is already going to be electric. I'd say bring out blacks then.

It'd be cool beans. If any of the blue hairs got all crotchety and bitched about tradition they'd just look silly. That's the best part. Red pants are tradition, created by Vince Dooley. Just like the silver britches. Now if we can work on the lie about Dooley breaking out black jerseys vs Vanderbilt in like 1977...
ETA: Actually I am pretty sure someone said we wore black once in like the 50's. So it's ok, too. Only traditions that must be burned with hell fire are traditions started by Richt, Donnan, or Goff. So bon voyage black pants, silver helmets, and power ranger uniforms.
ETA 2: ...unless Richt wanted wear all white and white helmets. That's a gimmick I could also dig.

I love the black jerseys. The 07 auburn game was the last game that I went to as a student. I'm all for bringing them back.
