(We have an answer) So why do you think Bobo went to SC rather than UGA?

Is it that Kirby thinks Coley is better_____?
Is it that Kirby doesn’t believe in mixing friends with business_____?
Has Kirby finally given in and decided to modernize the offense? Has a better coach in mind to do this_____
Bobo didn’t want to go to Georgia__ __

No
No
No
No
I really don't think Kirby ever intended to offer Bobo. Coley is his friend as well and Kirby was always going to retain him for next year.

There’s a stigma about going back to a previous job. Plus there may be some bad feelings with the AD after the way he left.

Bobo thinks he will get the job when Boom gets banged.

He wasn’t a very good HC.
Is he better buds with Muschamp?
Doesn’t matter I suppose. I think the fact of the matter is that Coley is being retained. Much to our chagrin.

I can't say for certain but Bobo doesn't appear to be in great health. I don't know if that played a factor.

They offered him an OC job, we didn’t

So Kirby thinks Coley is better.
Thanks.

Or Matt Luke going to get promoted to the OC after the bowl game....and have OL/OC responsibilities

No one knows what actually transpired. It’s almost a 100% certainly that adding bobo was discussed. But how far it went, who knows.

I actually agree with jodeux for once. But i still won't upvote him out of basic principle.

Bobo is joining a staff of buddies with bmac, Thomas Brown, and Muschamp.
Agent Muschamp is putting the band back together for us, and going to hand it to us as a package on a silver platter in two years. Still gotta get Friend out of UTk to complete implementation readiness.

Damn, I didn't know T Brown was with USCe too. That's fricking wild they have more alumni than we do

Who said this? Maybe Kirby knows more about what the problem is than Flexdawg? Maybe Bobo doesn’t want to “come home” and so we didn’t offer. Some people are so fricking insufferable.

That was one of the fill in the blanks.

Most likely he wasn't offered a job here, or didn't ask for one.
He would expect to have control of the offense so Kirby would not want him here.

I keep seeing this said, along with how “stubborn” our 4 year coach is...where does this belief come from that he’s a control freak, set in his ways and unwilling to take input or change? The control freak part I can sortof see in his behavior, the other part just seems like speculation.
