Kept hearing how AU's OL and DL are not only elite but practically all seniors. Not sure who the GSB roster analyst is but although AT#71 is awesome he's still a TF. How many TF's did we play yesterday vs how many TF's AU played?

Future looks bright, just need even more elite big uglies and it seems they are lining up at the moment.

Silver lining? Our defense actually didn't play bad yesterday if you take away all the stupid penalties. Javon wims is a star and I think Fromm finally realized that. Also Fromm gave it everything all the way to the end of the game, that says a lot about his character. I agreed with Kirby, take away the stupid penalties and you have a whole different ball game

I stopped reading right there.

40 points.

40.

40 points.

40 of them.

Out of all the aspects of our team that got disrobed yesterday, that defense was the biggest outside of maybe only the offensive line.

Our front 7 got its arse kicked by Karryon Johnson. Our rushers couldn't tackle Stidham, our secondary was constantly out of position and our tackling in space sucked pure stinky arse.

The defense sucked yesterday, plain and simple.

There is a golden opportunity for elite OL to join our team.

Agreed but the root of our issues started in the trenches. I heard analysts post game joking about how it seemed some of AU's players had been there since 2003. Had the OL been locked down a bit more, JF#11 would have seen the open receivers he missed running for his life and 1/27 would have had way more success. I know I'm stating the obvious but it starts there.

We're not too far from being at the next level on OL. In fact, could we make an argument we're ahead of schedule?

Maybe before this game we could have. The O-line yesterday looked worse the our O-line last year. The only positive is its the only time our O-line looked bad this season

Really? Really? You mean in those losses last year to Vandy, TN and FL...and almost Nichols? We looked worse than that? At least we've improved to where we're beating shitty East teams.

Yesterday was an awful game - no doubt - but all of this "OMG we suck" drama is a bit much.

Our O-line has vastly improved this year. Still not where it needs to be but vastly improved. We had a bad game on the road against a very, very good (possibly great) Auburn front 7. It happens. We gotta keep choppin and improving.

And handily, at that.

Prior to the ND game, who in here would have believed we would be 9=0 and #1 on 11/10 mainly because of our OL giving Fromm and our RBs the opportunities to score at will? The defense has played lights out all year as well but we would not have won the ND or the SC games without the offense.
