Everyone and their brother is giving us no chance to win, but i am hopfull we compete and have a chance to make a play late in the game.
What do you think the keys are to slowing bama down and some things we can take advantage of?
I would like to see some misdirection, auburn type, plays thrown in mix against bama along with a lot of running out of a spread formation. Defensivly, the safetys are going to have to play deeeeeep

Basically the balance of the season minus LSU has been one big scrimmage to prepare for the Bama game. Playing 5-6 deep at almost every position and filling our roster with 5-4 star athletes with a chance to avenge the Championship Game after a mountain of disrespect, frick it, I like our chances

We will beat Bama. At least by 3 points. Payback is a bitch.

Auburn's good teams have put up some points on bama

Can't let Bama have any of those 2-3 play TD drives. Make them go 8-10 plays to score. If you have to play a little softer in the secondary, so be it. Also, if UGA D can hold once Bama gets inside the 30, their kicker isn't very good.

Alabama is a great team. Everyone talks about Tua but their defense is impeccable. Their running backs are elite. Their offensive line is elite. Their receivers are elite.
Basically, standard Alabama.
Here's the thing.
We're pretty damn good too.
The program talks about chopping.
Chop.
Chop.
Chop.
Keep on chopping.
Chopping wood.
If you keep chopping, that tree is coming down.
We keep chopping.
Who is the tree?
We're going to make their asses quit.

To me the their are three keys to the game
1. Our OL has to dominate the game and create holes for the running game keep the ball away from Tua.
2. Have to get to Tua, no doubt he is one of the best QBs we will probably see in the college game but if we can rattle him maybe he can make a mistake.
3. Baker has to take away half the field make Tua throw to one side and force him to make a throw he doesn’t need/want to.

On this point... I think we play chess and let Baker cover their #2 receiver and when Tua sees the #1 is covered he instinctively throws to the #2, covered by Dr. Baker.
This is an old coaching trick my grandpappy told me about.

We won’t beat them toe to toe... we need to kick them in the nuts early...frick their Mom... then their Dad and make their head spin and take it out of reach before they figure out what we did.

We did that to them last year......

Then their Brother came home and fricked our Dad

I gave us no chance at first thought, but we have figured some things out and Swift is getting healthy. We need more of our guys to get healthy.
Tua clearly has knee issues, but the real kicker is Jeudy was limping around pretty bad last week during the Citadel game. Damien Harris is also banged up. If those two guys aren't 100%, it could certainly affect Alabama's overall performance.

I honestly believe: Even banged up, UGA has the best O-Line in CFB... its not even close. We’ll run the ball at will against Bama... IF UGA can contain Tua and those elite WR just a little bit... we’ll be right there in the end.

I like the position we're in, because Kirby can go full Rodney Dangerfield with the team and be in their face that absolutely no one thinks we can win.

We need to play our game. Ole Coach Snacks needs to call a great offensive game. If the run game is working don’t go away from it and try to force things. No stupid fake field goals, high risk trick plays, etc.
This was a rebuild year in many ways. But if a rebuild year under Kirby means we are in the SECCG with a puncher’s chance then hell yes I’ll take it.
I feel like we are going to compete in this game. Anytime we face Bama for a championship it becomes an epic heavyweight slug fest. Eventually we are going to punch through the ceiling and beat those bastards.
