I think we are going to see some other people either transfer or leave in the off season. Counting the seniors, Eason, and Roundtree, I think that opens up 18 spots. I think the actual number we had was really 84. If we take 25 with the 18 class, seven more would also have to depart to stay at 85. No one knows the real number but folks in BM. I could see one maybe 2 juniors leaving early but not 7. I could see Roquan, Trent, and Baker all leave. I think the Roquan is the only guy that should leave though.

I’d put my money on Trent and baker staying. Kirby got Chubb, Michel, Bellamy, and Zo Carter to come back and probably these guys too. Now they know they can win a natty, they’ll want to finish the job.

Any DB’s staying back?

Chubb told Kirby he was coming back last year. Kirby just shut up lol.

Only jumps would be Smith and maybe TT this year.

No, but I'll miss him as well. He recruited better then almost any coach, without saying a word to a recruit. DGD and he'll give back. Don't worry about not seeing him around in the future.

Class act.

We were unbelievably lucky to have had him for three years. Coach/recruiter doesn't leave and he is playing on the West coast. At the time I didn’t understand the delayed signing or not signing a LOI. He’s a smart, thoughtful guy. The shame of the prior staff is how many GA guys like him played for our major rivals. Cam, Watson — it goes on and on.

We we're lucky to have someone in the Falcon's organization to leak that info. That fax almost got sent to LA.

Where I see Kirby having a major impact is by building relationships throughout the State’s coaching community. I’ve lived in GA towns/small cities for most of my life. It constantly amazed me that you never saw a GA coach unless there was a recruiting emergency. This goes all the way back to Dooley. GA has always been a “lazy” recruiter.
