Fernandina is my spot. Lived down there for a summer doing internship at longpoint golf club.
X2 on Brett’s and also check out the green turtle tavern, and sliders( on the beach at the roundabout)
The surf is ok but it’s mostly just fried seafood.
If you weren’t staying at the ritz (private beach) I’d tell you where the secret public beach access at the south end of the island is. The beach patrol doesn’t frick with you about alcohol down there as long as you keep it hidden.

They are trying to slow it down by preventing Slab houses etc

We will see.

But yes they are over building for sure....
We don’t have the infrastructure or schools to support all the new houses.

yessuh,i live in Bogart currently.

im just glad they finally finished the oconee connector...i moved up here in 09 and they had just broken ground on the road expansion...almost 10 years to complete. But without knowing the scope i'm not sure if thats good or bad.

But youre right, the infrastructure might be the limiting factor on their growth. with 78, 316, and 29 in my area im surprised i havent seen any new housing going up.

Its starting to slow as the OC housing market is cooling.
