I don't do Facebook. But at least one of you motherfrickers read that Kelly said playing for Notre Dame is like "being on Broadway" and you got a snicker about the band thing.

If everyone in the stadium knew his quote, it might be kind of funny as a sly dig. Given that few people probably do, it's more in the realm of the arcane.
Plus, "On Broadway" is kind of a marching band staple anyway.

Its not a anything-out at this point. At least not according to the team. The LED’s are just a new stadium toy they’ve been getting ready to show off.
The Spike Squad is trying to make a blackout, but my guess is the stadium will be 60-40 red or maybe 50-50.

If you had included a link to the quote in the original post, you might have gotten some support here... It's kind of in the vain of silly/insulting walk up music for the road team (ie. Uptown Girl back when BJ Upton played for the Rays and they came to town)...
