Guys, we play Tech at Noon. Tickets are reasonable. I haven’t been there in forever.

Is there a side/section you would recommend?

I am taking 7 year old and don’t want to hear him complain about sun all day.

Thanks in advance! Go Dawgs!

Since when do we care about what kids think, you live in GA, there is lots of sun.

I guess if you are worried about it, your couch is the best seats....

Come on man. There's no need to be a dick to a guy asking for help.

It's projected to be only 57 degrees or so. The sun might be a good option, with a cap and some shades. I don't go to the Tech games, so I don't know about the sections.

Not really much of an overhang but you want as high up in the lower level in the West stands as you can get. With a 12pm start gonna be sun most of game(if it's sunny)...

Halfway down the thread and you're still digging.

We have pansies because of participation trophies. When considering taking a child to an event that requires a good six hours or so of continuous engagement, it doesn't hurt to make it easier on the kid. They don't always stay glued to the action and tune out discomfort as well as adults do.

Quit being a douche nozzle.

I don't think his intent is to toughen the kid up. I think, like a good parent, he wants to ensure his kid has as good a time as possible.

I think No-Nut November is doing a number on you.

Pussy bores you? I'm starting to understand why you don't understand taking little kids to a game is a big issue.

I downvoted Lewis too but he's not completely off base. 7 isn't what I consider 'little' kid. And at the end of November, you should be praying for sun.

If you actually care about the kid, sun would be not be a worry in November, hearing protection would be...

True, though not as much so as LA or San Fran. The people of Atlanta are largely potty trained.
