SemperFiDawg - deeprig, the personal rancor reflected in that remark I don't intend to dignify with comment. But I would like to address your general attitude of hopeless negativism. Consider the lilies of the goddamn field or... hell! Take at look at Cheese Grits here as your paradigm of hope.
LewDawg - Sounded to me like deeprig was harboring a hateful grudge against cheese grits on account of his rough and rowdy past. Looks like deeprig is the kind of fellow who wants to cast the first stone.
Cheese Grits - Neither God nor man's got nothin' on me now.

Not that hard to figure out JD, maybe cornball to you but life is just more enjoyable when you view the positive over the negative. I view it more as "we" than "me" or "us" vs "them".
Not saying I am not competitive, just that I do not let it consume my soul like I may have when I was younger. There is truth to the adage "With age comes wisdom" but what they do not tell you is you have to let your guard down and open up to actually let it in.
I wish, I have been around "great" often in my life and am in awe of how far I must still go to achieve it. Lots of really great things in small spaces if you open your eyes to see them.
