Taking the little one to his first UGA game Saturday. Any advice on where to park close the stadium so we don’t have a long walk with toddler on shoulders/with a stroller?

I’ve always either lived in Athens or had access to one of the lots in the past, but not this time.

I know this question has probably been asked on here a billion times so I apologize in advance. On mobile and at work so I didn’t want to go sifting through all the old pages.

Parking has all changed, everything close is University permitted. I have ubered from my hotel the last few games and that has been easy.

Maybe get there early and try something off Baxter or milledge. Try downtown or out Lexington hwy.

If you're not opposed to a bus ride, Intramural Fields or East campus deck if you're early enough.

Will bus you right up to the east gate and then bus you right back after. Great if you're not really looking for the tailgate experience.

I didn’t think about those shuttles, good call. Might try downtown area first so we can do some walking around but if we get there later and don’t have time then that’s a good idea. Thanks!

If you get there early enough you can pay to park downtown. Otherwise, bus over from ECV for free

Get there nice and early and get some breakfast somewhere. Take a Lyft from there to the game.

Only way I ever do it.

Being its an early game and it will be another blowout parking should not be an issue as no one is really tailgating etc. I know we are not this game.

I always park/tailgate in Hoke Smith which is on Carlton right off of Lumpkin (by the track fields, Stegman, etc) the reason I like this spot is it an easy exit. Little traffic. Lumpkin to Milledge and off you go.

There is plent of parking on Lumpkin starting at Grindhouse.
Its about a 10-15 minute walk through campus to get to the stadium from that Carlton, Ga Center, Lumpkin area.

Just my suggestion.

Try the BB&T corner of Broad and N. Thomas. Permit parking but should have extra spots for Ark. St... They'll run $40 and it's a 10 minute walk down Thomas/East Campus to Sanford...

Im glad we have games like this to take little ones to. Some people want football to be all shitfaced crazy people at night every single weekend.

I need this one to rest up for ND. That’ll be a 5AM to Midnight of drunken revelry that I am going to pay dearly for come Sunday and probably Monday too
