Who would you say is that most overhyped team on our schedule, and why is it Florida?

Am I the only one who doesn’t buy the TA&M hype?

I am in wait and see mode there, but not gonna tempt fate and label them as overhyped. We haven't played them ONCE since expansion... it's easy to eyeball a team from afar and say, oh we match up well here, there, etc... I'm excited for the game. They gave LSU all they wanted last year for sure... something that we did not manage to do.
Definitely would seem that UF is the most hyped team on the schedule from a pure objective assessment standpoint. They played us reasonably well last year and yet still fell apart in the end. They lose their entire OL, and the Muschamp classes are gone... so they're left with McElwain and Mullen croots at this point. And none of this addresses the fact that they were +12 in turnover margin last year (#7 nationally I believe)... something that historically has a tendency to regress to the mean in a big way.

I'm kind of buying it but I also bought the Mississippi State hype a couple years ago and we all know how that one went

Notre Dame...this year, last year and every year....
Florida and A&M are potential contenders in the SEC....Notre Dame may be for real also but you wouldn't know it judging by pre-season hype and history because the Irish are national title contenders every season even when they are 9-3....they are always over hyped except for the rare occasion when they are truly a contender...say every 30 years or so....

This is what I don't understand. Obviously they lacked the depth to be able to hang for an entire 4 quarters and from what general knowledge I have they didn't do a whole lot in recruiting to offset that disparity. Yet they are confident they can not only beat us but win easily.
Kirby has driven them beyond delusional to fantastical.

Clemson. While the offense will be dam good, I don't see their defense replacing all those starters drafted. That defense was historic.
Clelin Ferrell 1st round #4 overall
Christian Wilkins 1st round #13 overall
Dexter Lawrence 1st round #17 overall
Trayvon Mullen 2nd round #40 overall
Austin Bryant 4th round #117 overall
Albert Huggins Undrafted/Signed with Houston
Tre Lemar Undrafted FA/Signed with Detroit
Plus that elusive Hunter Renfrow is finally gone. Clemson gonna lose at least 1 regular season game.

Did you not read the post or are you saying we meet Clemson in the playoffs?
Y’all know what I love? Going into the season expecting to be in the playoff. At least feeling like we have a legitimate chance. Feels damn good.

While Clemson is not on the schedule but wouldn’t mind playing them in January, I could see it. They will definitively take a step back. They have recruited well, but they just recently started recruiting elite this year for 2020. They won’t just not skip a beat. They will feel the losses.

My bad, my eyes was locked in on the subject line.
But I'll just leave that post right there for general info

So, now to the topic at hand.................
I think Missouri is getting a little too much love. NCAA.com preseason rankings have them at 23. They are putting way too much emphasis on Kelly Bryant. He is a decent QB but not a game changer.

they have young studs on defense and that offense will be prolific. they will go 12-0 easily

Most overhyped team on Georgia’s schedule is likely to be Georgia. This year’s offense is going to be a work in progress all season. Any WR’s with height got no speed, any WR’s with speed got no height, and Kirby wants them all to block anyway. Run game ought to be good out of the gate though.

Matt Landers - 6’5”, I believe he ran a laser timed 4.4 40 this offseason.
