That’s 2 walk-offs in a row. Braves for a 2-0 series lead. I know we’ve seen this movie before, but if we think this is UGA’s year… maybe it’s the Braves’ year, too?

Could be a great year for Georgia sports. As long as the Dawgs and Braves can finish this time!

This team is awesome. I just can’t imagine how it would look with Ronnie in the lineup

It’s crazy how much Acuna’s injury changed this team. A lot of trades and acquisitions were made shortly after. Many of those additions were instrumental in getting the Braves into the play-offs. Sure miss having Ronald out there though.

Trying not to count the chickens before they hatch. The Dodgers are ridiculously loaded (like always) and it feels like we are big underdogs-especially in the bullpen. But it’s been a fun ride so far and love the no-quit attitude of this team.

That’s my concern. They’ve been reliable so far but on the mound very frequently. Hoping the fatigue doesn’t set in and take its toll on their performance… would be great if the starters can go deep into a few upcoming games. The Dodgers have seemingly endless depth in their pen.

I feel like I've seen this one before, and I already know how it ends.

My wife told me this morning that we had a good shot at winning the NLCS cause we were up 2-0. I told her we were up 2-0 last year and we saw how that turned out.

Those were two incredible, intense games.

The Dodgers are still loaded and could easily win the next four games by a combined score of 30-5, but their starting pitching is in complete shambles right now.

Not sure why post counts matter, but now that you mention it… you’ve been here 10 years with over 15k posts. On an average that’s over 100 posts a month. I’ve made 15 posts in over a week, good for maybe a 60 average a month. Was your point that you need to post less also?

Been reading these forums since 2015. But I wasn’t aware that just because I finally joined up meant I was on a limit. Seeing how many other team forums here are ghost towns, I figured activity was a good thing.

Braves had them on the ropes and the bullpen blew it. They were bound to crack at some point. Dodgers have so many clutch hitters too. Luke Jackson had a terrible outing. He thought he could get a fastball by Bellinger but he jacked it. I know Freeman had 3 hits but when it came clutch time in the 8th & 9th we fell flat. Braves had a few chances to blow the game open.

That was a great game but definitely a tough loss. I don’t think anyone in their right mind would think we could sweep the Dodgers, but Atlanta had a very good shot at going up 3-0 tonight.

The Braves definitely don’t have LA’s pen so the late innings are always nail-biters. Jackson has been solid in the postseason but he’s been pitching a lot… seems overworked. But even if he was completely rested, I hear you on that pitch sequence to Bellinger. I was surprised when Jackson blew that high fastball by him, and I told my wife “Bellinger doesn’t miss those twice”. Couldn’t believe they tried that again… thought for sure they’d go with something breaking into the dirt. Wasn’t Jackson’s night.

The LOB for the Braves hurt. Felt like it should have at least been a 7-2 game going into the 8th. Freddie may have not delivered in the biggest moment but I’m glad to see him out of his strikeout slump.

Not trying to negative Georgia sports guy, but that loss feels like it's gonna cost us two games. Don't look for us to turn the momentum around in the game today, especially with the bullpen game happening.

BUT still love where we are at. Just need Max to have a gem and then win one out of two at home.

Go Braves, frick TBS
