Skip this and purchase a Kamado Joe. just upgraded to the Classic III, and it is a magnificent cooker of meat.

Its a brilliant marketing scheme put on by the big green egg company. I pay $50 to cook for 5000 people I dont know. I buy the food I am paying to cook. They charge people(eaters) $50 to come in and eat the food I bought, and paid to cook. While the eaters are there, they sell them stuff. But with my cook ticket, I can bring in a cooler for the jack daniels I am dri... er coooking with.. happens every october at stone mountain. this will be my 7th year cooking. if anyone goes stop by the roughhouzers tent. I buy ya a drink.

Thousands of people voluntarily paying money in exchange for a good time. In fact, it's such a good time, that they're actually having to turn away people that are begging to voluntarily pay money for this good time. And probably there are the folks that don't think the good time is worth the money, and so they are allowed to choose not to voluntarily give money for it. And then, of course, there's the part about how the eggtoberfest good time would never even exist if there wasn't an incentive to make money off of it.....but there is, thank God....and so all the exponential joy and fun and happiness created by the fest is released into the solar system. Making this time and moment in space slightly lighter and fulfilling than it would be otherwise.

Stop on buy vox! So far the group I am cooking with will be making atomic buffalo turds, bacon wrapped corn, wings, meatloaf, monkey bread(should be called space monkey bread imo) and some kinds of venison bacon bite deal. I am sure there will be bloody mary stuff and #7 and coke. I will be the big bearded dude with diggity on the back of his shirt. we are normally in the center near the road opposite side of the sound stage. see ya there.

Will do! We're always there as soon as the gates open, so I imagine we'll swing by before noon. In fact, I guarantee it because we will be in full-on spoiler alert mode once the game vs USCjr kicks off.

we will have the game on the radio. satellite on camper doesnt have dvr. will be watching the 330 and later games at the campground. I undoubtedly will be hungover or drunk by the time they let eaters in so stop on by.

Nothing's wrong with it, they're a perfectly good ceramic smoker brand. The whiff from you is trying to poormouth the master brand for all ceramic smokers in the category. BGE is on top for a reason, and apparently you couldn't leave it well enough alone.

I’m not trying to poormouth BGE. I do believe KJ has been more innovative in recent years and currently represents better value for the money.

Just know that while BGE is HQ'd in Tucker, GA...a lot of production is from Mexico.
